Durham is rich with history and we wanted to make sure we captured that in our restaurant. The restaurant features illustrations by the amazingly talented Lizzie Mary-Cullen who has paid homage to the beautiful cathedral by painting onto a glass frame - a modern interpretation of the cathedral's stained glass wrapped around the staircase. LED rods illuminating the roof, wooden wall panelling, and grand chandeliers (both old and modern) make sure the building achieves the trickiest of tricky tasks of being both historical and cutting edge.
